War of roses During the Renaissance there was many disputes on beliefs. There were also many arguments on the ownership of land. One of the major war that have been remembered was the "War Of Roses" There were many battles during that war. There was a total of nineteen battles during the War Of Roses. The first war was called 1st St. Albans, this battle occurred on May 22, in 1455. There was about 2,500 men on the Lancaster's side and about 7,000 on the York's side. The York's had the Lancaster's out numbered by massive amounts. The main two leaders of the battle was Henry IV for Lancaster, and Richard , Duke of York for York.. The second battle was called the battle of Blore Heath, that battle occurred on September 23, 1459. Lancaster had out numbered the York's six to three. The same leaders lead through each battle during the fourteenth century.

The third battle was, the battle of Ludford Bridge which occurred on October 12, 1459. Lancaster also let in the men count against the York's. The third battle was called the Northampton battle, this occurred on July10, 1460, in this battle the York's had more men. In the Battle of wake field which was held on December 30 1460 the Lancasters outnumbered the York's. the fifth battle was Mortimer's Cross which was held on February 2, 1461, In this battle the York's had a greater amount in men
