Why it is unethical to ask prospective college students if they ever been arrested on their college application

This question has become a hot topic in recent times in this country. Lawyers and judges, and politicians expressed their views on this subject, and while it seems that everyone is talking about it was to come to any real conclusions. When we talk about college students and asked for their arrest record on the application of their college there are no easy answers, but when it was the weight of all the factors, with the exception of murder, and the negative effects of university students in the adult system outweigh the positive (Siegel and Welsh, 2010).

One of the main reasons for this is because before one can answer the question of the students and asked about their criminal records as adults must first answer many other questions, some of which go deep into the basic foundations of the legal system of a particular country (Siegel and Welsh, 2011). So, there are a number of reasons why it is unethical to ask college students about their being arrested on their college applications.

It cannot be automatically assumed that such a young offender can understand the dire consequences of their actions. Underage offenders, such as college students, and being a person under 18 years of age, should not be subject to public accountability because they are not mature enough to be fully responsible for their actions."A movement has taken hold of our nation to change the juvenile justice system,
