Part I: A Definition of "Worldview"

Word view is the way that an individual or group of people see the world and what goes on in it. It is typically driven and developed by that person's emotions and how they feel (Hindson & Caner, 2008). You could say it is the looking glass of individuals that causes them to see the world in a specific way. There are multiple different kinds of world view and it can change from person to person in what their description is of their world view.

Part II: Articulation of a Biblical Worldview

Origin: How did we get here? When describing the origin of the Christian Worldview, the Bible tells us that we came from Adam and Eve and the populations grew as time went on. Everything exists because God created it all (Weilder & Gutierrez, 2013). As stated in the Bible, "faith is the assurance of things hoped for" and "by faith we understand the world was framed by the word of God" (Heb 11:1-3).

This is part of the origin of the Christian Worldview comes from.

Identity: Who are we? The Identity of Christian Worldview is very important to understand. Not only are we messengers for God, but also we were formed by him and from him. The Bible states that we live for him, move for him, and we are his offspring. (Acts 17:28). Therefore we are God's children and we are the ones who are to spread his word and his love to the world.

Meaning: Why are we here? This ties in with who we are because we are here to know God spread his glory to the world. As Christian's we are raised learning that our faith is what keeps us going...
