As a mother/grandmother I would hope the next generation will see our plights/errors and learn from them. But as of now-history shows we still repeat our mistakes-not learn from them.

I felt these stories were well written but with 3 different themes. The first a short story that reflects the title of the essay. The 2nd reflects your thougts on story telling and the 3rd possible titled "Lessons Learned in a Classroom."
