Your work is very interesting but the mechanical errors--spelling/grammar/sentence structure make it difficult to follow at times. Also I was confused how does one "become a natural born killer"? I mean if they were a natural born killer they wouldn't need to become one--right? good luck with your writing it shows a lot of potential!

This article is an excellent "first person" account of the devistation that alcholic parents can cause in the lives of their children. It is well researched. If you are interested in this topic I would recommend reading Claudia Black's "It will never Happen to Me" It is research about the effect of the alcoholic parent and family dynamics of children from such homes. A must read for anyone who does not wish to repeat the errors of parents with alcohol problems.

This is a nicely put together essay; however I would beg to differ that teenagers are not merely an "empty shell" waiting to assimilate a personality nor is it merely a "flick of a switch" that can change a normal teen into a serial killer. Mr. Dahmer exhibited many of the standard behaviors and life situations that can help identify a serial killer in the making: such as mutilating animals and saving "trophies", isolation, poor relationships with peers and a dysfunctional family setting. If you are interested in learning more about serial killers I would recommend reading something by John Adams, the now retired FBI agent who helped pioneer criminal profiling.
