  • Capital Pnishment is long defunct! I agree!

I completely agree! This is a very well written concise piece. After all, how much of a 'punishment' really is being put to death? It is much more taxing to spend years in jail contemplating ones fate and as you said, remorse and rehabi, litation are possible

This essay is well structured and articulated. I agree that the film is a masterpiece and whilst it may contain defunct archetypes, it provides the enticing suspenseful narrative.Well done

  • Thoughtful; however, perhaps untactful analogy!

This is a thoughtful essay, however, in renouncing prejudice, you accidentally put forth a stereotype in referring to African Americans as'Blacks': "Gays became to see themselves as an oppressed minority group, similar to women and blacks". Also, referring to women as aminority group may notbe what you are trying to convey. i think you meant that women face prejudice, as do homosexuals; yet women are NOT a minority group. Underrepresented perhaps, yet not a minority. However, cohesive text and thoutful analysis of a pressing social issue.

  • Analysis?

I fail to find a degree of analysis in this text. Is Attenborough's portrayal of Gandhi a candid one, or is it shrouded? Does the audience observe both the good and the bad? Is Attenborough conveying a 'magnificent failure'?

  • Good arguments; would be interesting to hear of other theorists though...

good points. I agree that Piaget's theory is the most practical at the current stage of investigative psychology and social science. However, it would be beneficial to mention other theorists such as Vygodsky for comparison.Well done

Well, at my school we have a "Tennage Issues" tent at our school every 2 weeks orso. This tent distributed free condoms, lubricant and information as well as advice and experts to talk to. I find this approach both educational and helpful. Everyone who is informed is at less risk. Good points made:)

  • When someone can be responsible for killing thousands of people, that person should be killed. Is NOT on, no matter what YOU believe!

look, i agree. You have made a very passionate piece, however, it isimportant to back up all your claims with solid evidence. Remember that an essay is personal opinion, so present the data that supports it. however, statements sush as:"When someone can be responsible for killing thousands of people, that person should be killed." are not on. This is leaning towrds propoganda mate. not too bad though:)

  • An essay is one's opinion, no matter how you look at it

I think this is a good piece, however, you do not have to state "my opinion is...." at the end of this piece, as an essay is meant to be putting forward opinion. You should convince the reader of your opinion!Still, well done

Very well argued essay:)Just one small constructive criticism: try not to change tense too much: eg:"stated that she is not putting herself for attention and is not thinking of taking over the jobs of men" maybe you could say:stated that "she WAS not", not "IS not"other than that - very insightful:)

  • A Bit Hazy

I just thought i'd comment on the structure of this essay. I found that whilst it is informative in some respects, it is very hard to follow, shows little depth of comrehension and shows a lack of understandingparticularly in the introduction and conclusion. I understant that this is and 8th grade essay, and therefore, i think it prevalent to recieve constructive feedback.
