Overall great essay. Clear and concise train of thought with well supported observations and ideas. The only item that I think may improve the flow for the reader would be to explain who Andrea Jung is earlier on in the essay.

Overall great essay that does a fantastic job of presenting both sides of a hot topic in a way that is informative, but not tired and condescending. Good job!

This was interesting, informative and followed a pre-determined pattern of thought. The way that the writer associated the text book attributes to "real life" experience was also a positive and really helped the reader relate to the facts being conveyed.

Overall good essay. Nice transition between facts and personal insight. It would be nice to hear more about the survey that you speak of. Especially in relation to geographical location and other demographics I think this would help reader's identify more with the issue at hand.

Not real sure that I understand how advertising makes beauty by using up resources. Not all resources are finite in nature and advertising will most likely continue as long as it is able to influence the decisions of purchasers.
