Did you realize that Hemingway was a drunk.A genius but a drunk. He often wrote out of necessity. He never gave an intro or a prelude...he always starts you in the conflict or crisis. I love his style and stories!

Great paper- liked the defining of absolute and relative poverty. Wondered if population control would /could be factored as a solution towards the poverty problem?

If someone is writing on this tiopic you may mention the fact that oedipus acted like a god. He had a Messiah like attitude that only he could save the people. This too is ironic since the people were suffering because of him.

You may want to try to outline before wrinting. This jumped alot and you did't seem to stay on track. How are the questions answered? If we follow this system of belief do we have free will? Physical free will vs mental free will?Just some things to think about if you are tweaking this for a turn in.

uses irony to convey it's messages. I don't think they really had a murder investigation per se although Oedipus who thought he knew who he was did have some pretty life altering news revealed to him.The man was selfish and messiah like. The people who watched Greek Dramas usually knew the story well. Ther is no mystery in that.

The failure of banks...led to people hoarding money. Why did banks fail? Speculation of the Market- put 10% down and the bank would finance your stock ( noe equity if a stock or business fails), no equity from european war debts -no equity from Florida land boom disaster failures. Capitalist Economies need a strong Banking system.

Perhaps you have personal experince in Florida but public or private schools anywhere can misguide parents into believing their child has ADHD. I guess some people swear by the drugs but I don't think they existed when I wa s growing up..You had lots of good points

I was a flight attendant. I like your initial paragragh but will defend the US in the last. We were not formally at war during 9-11. We were at war during Hiroshima. Terrorism is some group planting a bomb in front of a day care center. During a formal war you live in fear and hope.

I think the ad is meant to funny not offensive. You did do a great job of presentinting your ideas and one would have to respect your opinion. I think they were after the twenty something to thirty something crowd. On the other hand alcohol is an industry...and it is associated with humor and social occasions. This one just had poor form.

Television does have some good points like... instant acesss to news and weather. Is television to blame for children's perceptions or parenting for lack of monitoring or discussion? Couldn't you also say the the internet is an equally unhealthy obsession? Microwaves emit radiation. Maybe find a way to tie all these things together and urge moderation.

Is castration cruel or does it have a place? You might have said it can be viewed as cruel but studies have proven that castration can deplete the ability and desire of sexual preditors. What's cruel castration or subjecting innocents to repeat offenders?

I think the camel cartoons would have been a better example for influencing adolescents especially because there was quite a controversy about it a few years back. Or lookat the models that theyused to use in Vitginia slim ads...for influencing adolescent and early adult females.

Usually the people working for a bussiness have some clue that things may shut sour. Giving employees 6 months notice is unrealistic because usually as an executive you are trying to find a way to save the bussiness. A bussiness should not have to provide a plan like that. (We all have the ability to save)

there is no sbstance. You offer 1 or two points and don't go anywhere with them. No one cares about the author's background unless you tie it in to support a reason for the way he wrote. Next ime try to expand on your ideas and tie things together. Flow and content are everything.

Many spanards brutalized the Indians in the South. They did trade as the Indian needed guns to have an even ground with the settlers hunting wise. Most early Spanards were Conquistidors searching for gold. Would look at setting up an introduction paragragh and a conclusion.
