Great Essay. It's very informative and well cited. I would have mentioned some other forms of autism, such as asperger syndrome just to inform the audience that autism isnt so easily diagnosed because of disabilities that are so closely grouped.

This is very sketchy. I'm confused from the first sentence. It says that it is a speech, so that may be the explanation, but I hardly understand what is written.

I agree that having a year round school is probobly more detrimental to a child than good. I think that having school this much would increase the drop out rate dramatically. Also, the teachers would get burnt out so much faster than they do with 9 month schooling. However, most year round schools have a 3 week break every nine weeks, and a 6 week break in the summers. The point you made about having family time in the summer is not true if you look at the actual times that the kids are in school. Those people who agree with the year round school should try to teach it. I don't think they have any idea what they are talking about. The idea is stupid if you ask me.

I totally agree with this. I think that all backgrounds should be taught to all students. Its important that everyone knows where they came from. If we teach students about other cultures, maybe their classmates will understand them more and the insults will be narrowed.
