Excellent!
Meagan that was a really good essay, and I've experienced the same as you have. My mother ended up in jail though, and my aunt raised me for 17 years. Unlike you my life went down the wrong path, doing things that my mother had done before. After meeting the right man that helped me changed, I've been better (not completley clean) for two years. I have a son of my own and I'm married.
