There is a very important experiment that has been done on the american public that you didn't mention, the vaccination. Many vaccines have been approved without much research only to find they cause much harm. They have been known to cause serious problems in children, and over the years, some of them have improved by using our children as research subjects. I do agree with you that it is immoral and unethical to do these projects, but unfortunately, too many people don't want to know and consent without arguement.

I agree that female circumcism is wrong but where were the good points? Also, if the culture is trying to ensure virginity, why not use a chastity belt or something safer. Or how about birth control? Overall, I think you did a good job on the essay.

I have recently read two other poems not mentioned here, that pertain to war. The authors also shown an anti-war belief. War is a horrible and traumatic experience for soldiers and their families, along with the families of the enemy. Horace's Odes, book 3, line 13..(It is sweet and honorable to die for the fatherland), is a lie and false misrepresentation of what war is really like. I could not agree more with these authors listed and their view of war.
