It was a decent beginning but it sort of dipped afterwards. To me, a history essay should be full of facts and anecdotal evidence. Sure...you used facts but instances like "they couldn't go to school..." sounds like you own opinion instead of a non-biased analysis of a historical event. Overall this essay was pretty good, from where i come from you would get a 9/10.
