I'm reading this book now in highschool
It was his thirst for freedom that kept him from suicide, not his thirst for knowledge (although that was also very important to him). Also, it should me mentioned that he became a free man. This essay is a bit too short, but I cannot tell if this should be acceptable because I do not know the assignment.- 22/02/2007
