Good as a whole, but to improve it I recommend you to add some further information about for example The repercussions which effect women in today's society. You named it, but it would give a better level if you put a just a little information about the effect that you named earlier.Another thing I spotted out was the constant repetition of "and" in your last paragraph, just by reading it once I realized that.If you could work a little bit in those few points your essay could be better.
