Mainly retelling the story. The analysis could contain a lot more depth. More could have been said on the context.

There are some good points made in the main body of the essay. However, the majority of the first paragraph is pretty much unnecessary as you are just repeating the plot. But overall a good essay. You could also talk more about Okonkwo trying to save his culture.

This is too brief. To actually address any issues, you need to go into greater detail, and that means essays that are at least twice as long as that. And also, his name is Koro; Paka is just a term for grandfather.

Overall this is a good essay. One improvement would be to go into more detail on how Koro tries to uphold the Maori culture, rather than just focusing on the relationship between Koro and Pai.

I really don't want to know about your friends watching the movie...This seems more like an appreciative review rather than an essay. Some noteworthy points mentioned, but still lacks the solid form of an essay.

The analysis of techniques in this essay is quite good, although the language used may be a bit informal. Despite this, I found the essay far too short. I would have liked to see more examples of those techniques in the scenes from the movie.

This essay was very well written. You have addressed certain issues and themes that were present in both texts, as well as identifying several visual techniques that were used in the Marco Book photo. The fact that you have covered this much in such a short essay is excellent.
