I love the film. Throughout history there has always been someone who stands out. A person who refuses to follow the stereotypical models and ultimately redefines what it means to be human. Great piece. If I had not seen the film, and I read this, it definitely would have encouraged me to check it out. Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work.

The bible describes something called, "The deep tools of Satan". I believe evolution is one of those tools. That and modern Christianity. Oh, and lets not forget politics. Satan probably controls the internet and most of Utah too.I don't know what is real, really. But I do hope there is a God. Maybe... just maybe, there's a perfectly good explanation for all this crap we are going through. I think the answer is only revealed to those that really want to know. Either that or I'm completely insane. Call me old fashioned, I guess. I just prefer the voices in my head to have an origin.

Very good article. I'm actually studying to be a Jehovah's witness. And I see what you mean by intolerance. But it's not how you think. Jehovah's witnesses call other religions misguided because of scripture, not because they are intolerant. The bible defines the last days, and what people will be like during those times.2 Timothy 4: 3,4 reads-- For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories.So this belief come directly from the bible. We are living in a period of time where the unnatural seems natural. You missed their point. Premarital sex, violence, thievery, murder, unnatural desires; the whole world is misguided. But the bible tells of a man that came and changed that. Jehovah's witnesses are just following that man the best way they they can.If he says something is true. They believe him. We believe the bible to be the word of God, and we take that belief seriously. People call us intolerant or arrogant, but Jehovah's witnesses are the last people to cause trouble. There's always a few bad seeds. But for the most part we are honest, hard working people. Even though we don't agree with same sex marriage. You wont see Jehovah's witnesses protesting it. They take neither sides. We are neutral. The bible tells us to put our faith in God. Jehovah will be the decider. It is not our place to judge.

While I do believe in God, I thought this was a great essay. Very informative. Greek mythology is so interesting.
