I was voting for Netflix until I read your whole paper. Indeed that both Netflix and Blockbuster need to adapt the ever changing technical demand and marketing environment. I use BitTorrent to download software only. Now I will check out the BitTorrent video download option. :)

Yes, children (and adults too) are affected by violence received on media. Not just television. TV, movie, song lyrics as well as video games are affecting the users. People are numb about the violences and bloods seen on the medias.

It is important for new hire to understand what is expected in the job from day 1. The communication is 2 ways. employees want to get what they deserved, employer wants to get the work done and running the business. Company policies, regulation, benefit and job functions need to be clearly stated before the actual employment

I agree with the writer that there are many qualities needed as a supervisor. Communication, fairness, knowledge, ability to find answers and solution, and EQ (Emotional intelligence) all are contributing factors.The relationship of supervisor and staffs needs to have constant communication and feedback.
