  I am genuinely sorry to hear about the NHS failing you in such a way. As for the essay I am grateful for you sharing your experience but I am a little disappointed that there is not a single reference to anything remotely scientific or even expert information that specialists might have told you along with their names. Would seem more like a passage from a diary or a magazine. Not really useful at all but definitely readable.
