  • Very Good!!

You could almost write a paper on the first paragraph alone. Citizen allegiance truly is amazing. As a people, we are amazingly unique enough to not only find a "side" that works for us, but also to give our allegiance to that side and work together for a combined victory.

  • Nice Work!

Good Paper! Actually, I did want to make one comment. The Catholic Church does not normally support the death penalty. The only time that they do support it is if the defense of others cannot be obtained in any other bloodless means of control. This, in a way, is a contradiction of itself, as we all know that if you lock a man up in a cell 24 hours a day, there is a good chance that he will never kill again. Of course, then we would be charged with cruel and unusual punishment for keeping him in solitary confinement for the rest of his lfe. To the Catholic church, this would seem to be a better way, as the mans life is being spared. To me, as a Catholic, it doesn\'t make any sense as keeping him from harming others would mean locking him up as such and that he would go insane in the process. To wind this all up, in the view of the Catholic Church, it is better to prevent death by any bloodless means possible (including driving the prisoner to insanity) than to end their lives.Wow! This is all so confusing! More respect to ya! Good Job!

  • Great Essay

I found this essay to be very informative. The strategies of the civil war are important as well as realizing that the North has several advantages outside of slavery. The North had an industrious society, a President that was for the people, and war leaders that were concerned for the welfare of the people and the Union.

  • Good

The essay is very imformative, however, I would change one thing. When you begin to talk about security, you should have an opening statement other than, "With just one click." Perhaps you could say, "While privacy is important, security is even more so in that with just one click....."Otherwise! Very good!

Good, Very Good! I don't know if I would have used the word "suck", but the thought definitely fits your evaluation of television. The Simpsons are a good example of good humorous writing. Also, TV is highly sensored, and we are always only going to hear or see what the FCC allows. The FCC is a government agency --you do the math ;) I have found that when I go through stages of watching a lot of television, my creativity skills go down dramatically. TV feeds the brain and doesn't allow it to produce much in the line of thought provocation! Good short essay, I definitely enjoyed reading it!

..umm...I have to give clarification, as I am effected by this disease. I have dont a lot of reading on this, and it is true that the only way they put it is that "the disease effects 10 to 15 per million each year." The disease is so rare, that they have no real way of doing any other statistical plotting. In this case, iamgenius is correct. Still love ya, manginaboy :)

Okay, seeing that I'm not your biggest fan, I will evaluate this the best that I can. First, you did mention a few incidents that could be warranted as terrorism. Secondly, you mentioned how some view terrorism as defending their rights. However, even in all of that, the thought process was quite scattered. I wasn't impressed. Perhaps, you should start evaluating your own work before you start rating others without having the backbone to tell them why they received a poor rating from you. All in all, your sentence structure REALLY needs work!

  • Impressive Essay!

While reading your essay on desk top publishing, I gained a great deal of appreciation for the software that is available today. The WYSIWYG is quite helpful in publishing! I remember my first computer with the dot matrix printer (yes, the printer that sounded like a machine gun, taking a good 10+ seconds to print all the letters on one line..each letter segmented into 3 or 4 parts vertically). The word processing programs of that time (about 11 years ago) were advanced for their time, but very difficult to use. We used to think it was neat to draw a rocket using x's all the way down the paper in the shape of a rocket. Now, with the graphics and software that we have at our fingertips, we can draw the rocket in less than 3 seconds, using a line drawing program or we can just clip art the rocket to the page.Amazing times we live in!
