Abortion is an operation to terminate a pregnancy which kills the foetus before full term. When two people who are going to have a baby decide that they do not want to have to have the baby they go to a doctor and the woman has an abortion.
Abortion is a very controversial issue. On the one hand, there are people who believe that it is a woman's right to decide if she wants to have a baby and on the other hand, there are people who believe that having an abortion is like killing your own baby.
Those who believe there's nothing wrong with having an abortion say that when two young people aren't ready to become parents "ÃÂ because they are too young, or too immature, or cannot handle the responsibility "ÃÂ they should be able to go to a doctor and end the pregnancy. It is only reasonable that two people who are not married and don't love each other should have the choice to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.

Abortion MemorialA baby needs love, care and quite a lot of money is needed to raise it, so couples "ÃÂ and especially women "ÃÂ shouldn't be forced to have a baby against their will.
There are, of course, those who believe that having an abortion is like playing God and that no one can decide who lives and who dies. They also say that having an abortion is murder and what is worse, it is murdering someone you are supposed to love and protect, your own baby. They also add that having an abortion could destroy a woman's body so that she can't have children again.
Personally, I believe that nobody has the right to tell anyone what to do with their body, especially if this decision...
