An Analysis of Concepts in Psychology
Psychology is not only intriguing because it is science, but also because it is the science of our mind its functions, particularly those that determine behavior. It is a field that is employed by all of humanity, without some evening knowing it, as it places a scientific approach to the inner workings of mankind. Psychology is an all-encompassing field that is applied to the mind, and contains many different subset categories that are geared in a more specific way that covers certain aspects of the mind and behavior. Some of the more popular subsets cover the realms of social, personality and abnormal psychology. Within these fields are concepts that apply a definition to phenomena that is experienced by humanity. When learned, these concepts can provoke interesting thought into ones own inner workings, and can unconsciously create advancements in ones own perceptions of life.

Personality and Social Psychology ReviewWithin the confines of social psychology lie concepts that describe behavior amongst other human beings. The concepts attempt to explain such phenomena as leadership and love. One such phenomenon that is seen involves adjusting ones behavior in order to fit or go along with individuals around you. This is known as "conformity" in social psychology. A change in behavior in an individual that is caused by another person or group is what defines conformity, and does not refer to effects of other people on internal concepts such as attitudes or beliefs but instead only direct behavioral changes. Conformity deals with compliance and obedience due to its reference to any behavior that transpires as a result of others' influence.
