Analyzing the Effect of Scientific Advancement on Humanity

The wheel, indoor plumbing, personal computers, and cell phones are all advancements of technology for Humanity. Some people believe without these advancements they would not be able to survive. This essay will be analyzing the effect of scientific advancements and will prove that advances in technogy is a good thing. My argument for the effect of scientific advancement on Humanity is; from day one people always wanted things to be done simpler and quicker; that is why Scientific Advancement on Humanity is a good thing.

Humans have been on the planet earth for a little over 2,000 years now and yet we have already grown "bored" of it. We have even devoted governmental agency to the exploration of space. And without advancements in technology we would of never thought a man could walk on the moon or we could some day live on another planet then earth.

As Captain Jean-Luc Picard says at the beginning of "Star Trek": "Space... The final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no one has gone before". (1987,Star Trek: The Next Generation) It seems to me that humans want to explore the unknown and seek out new civilizations and since humans have this eagerness to seek out the unknown we have manipulated science and technology to do that. And without scientific advancements such as spaceships and computers we could have never put a man on the moon or launched the international space station. But space exploration is old news.

One advancement in sciencetific technology that interreges me more then space...
