The Baby Decision

Having a baby is a major life decision. Babies need your undivided attention 24 hours a day seven days a week. Once you decide to have a baby, you will be sharing at least the next 18 years of your life with this child. You need to consider many different factors before you make this life altering decision. First, you must ask yourself if you are financially stable, do you have plans to go to school or finish school, plans of holding a job, or if you will be traveling a lot? With a child some of those goals most likely will be put on hold.

If you decide to have a baby, your life path will go in a completely different direction than the road your life was already on. You might end up surrounding yourself with a new group of friends, most likely people that also have children because you will then share a common interest, which is parenthood.

The friends you use to go out to the clubs with or parties with probably will not be around as much. With a child you have more responsibilities. Your main focus on life now is to provide for your child and raise that child to be a happy, healthy, and successful human being.

Once you have a baby, most people then realize how precious life is and how amazing children are. Then, they realize why their mother, father, or other guardian bent over backwards to make them happy. Having a baby will change your whole outlook on life. It will not be a bad or good outlook, but it will be different from going through life without having any children.
