Because I could not stop 4 death Life is much shorter than we all hope for it to be. It can be taken from us in the blink of an eye. At some point in our lives we must be ready to accept Death. It can strike at any moment taking some completely unexpected. That is why we must all live life to the fullest and seize the say. We must live for now and not so much the future because for all we know our life can end tomorrow. Some people await death with open arms. They are tired and disgusted with their lives and look forward for their life after death. One must again, as in anyone lived in a pretty how town, be forced to break the social standards set forth and not conform to them.

The author is awaiting death to come and to take her away.

When Death comes she describes him as warm and kind. He takes her for a look back on her life starting from her childhood up to her life before she died. Death is deceptive. It seems to be a kind and welcoming person but is really an evil and horrific person. It deceives her into believing that death is great.

The author is stressing the concept of Carpe Diem. She lives for the moment and has no regard for what the future might bring because for all she knows she may not be alive.
