America stands for freedom like no other country in this world. It's the most powerful country in the world today and many regard it as the land of opportunity. No other country can offer the benefits that America offers. That is one of the reasons why people from all over the world have migrated to American soil. In America, success depends on the individual's performance and attitude.
America is considered the greatest country because of our freedoms. Freedoms not found anywhere else in the world, allow Americans to maximize their potential in as many ways as possible. Everyone is guaranteed equality in America regardless of race or color. Americans continuously work towards the future and for the better. A great building block of America is that we are allowed choices. Therefore, Americans have more flexibility in their day-to-day decisions. I am happy to be an American; I would not have chosen another country.

United StatesSome of the qualities that America stands for have been taken for granted; we are now vulnerable to terrorist attacks there are many enemies that hate all American people. We must take seriously warnings for the safety of all Americans. September 11, 2001 was a wake up call for America. Most Americans didn't think this attack was even possible. The destruction of the World Trade Center was a great tragedy, but not the worse tragedy that could happen to the American people. These actions by our enemies did open our eyes and made us more alert. Now we are forced to focus on life and the preservation of life. But Americans are strong through out history America has endured, adapted and overcome many obstacles. From the Revolution and the Civil War to World War II, the American people have become closer. Had not the tragedy...
