Charles W. Kennedy translated the epic Beowulf. Even though Grendel and the terrorists were attackers they attacked different things at different times for different reasons.

On September 11th, 2001 at 8:00 am four to six terrorists hijacked three planes. All from Logan airport, United airlines, departed from Boston to Los Angeles and Washington. Two airplanes crashed into the twin World Trade Centers and the Pentagon. The terrorists from Afghanistan had planned this horrific attack on America for more than five years We as Americans think the awful attack happened due to jealousy of our Free country, religion and to bring attention to the afganastans. Also, the terrorists were willing to do what their leaders told them so they gain respect from their people, Now our people from America are terrified of what will become of this attack.

Around 474 AD there was a fierce problem in the land of Hrothgar.

An immense monster named Grendel lived in the swampy fens of Hrothgars kingdom. Grendel went to a mead-hall which was built by Hrothgar, and attacked warriors. Grendel terrorized the Danes every night and killed 30 people all because he was tired of hearing the happy music in the hall. The Danes suffered many years of fear, danger and death at the hands of Grendel.

Even though Grendel and the terrorists were attackers they attacked different things, at different times, for different reasons. Although they did different actions, they're both similar because they left people fearing for their lives and futures, not knowing what will happen next.
