BlackBerry Z10

BlackBerry has recently introduced their new design smartphone called, BlackBerry Z10. After 6 years since the iPhone has been in the market, BlackBerry has learned its lesson and decided to come out with this new smartphone that can caught up with the competition. It took awhile for BlackBerry to finally came up with a mobile operating system that can match iOS on the iPhone and Android. The BlackBerry Z10 is the first touch-screen phone from BlackBerry, developed by RIM. The Z10 was first presented in the UK on January 31, 2013 and will be available in the US on March 31, 2013. The price of this new phone is around $150-$200, depending on the carrier. Unlike the old BlackBerry phones that are used to have a physical keyboard with the trackball, the Z10 has no keyboard and all touchscreen based only, just like all the other new touchscreen phones that consumers have been choosing over regular BlackBerrys for the last few years.

The BlackBerry Z10 uses the new BlackBerry 10 mobile OS (Operating System). The user interface of BB 10 is based on the concept of direct manipulation, using multi-touch gestures. Interaction with the OS includes gestures such as swipe, tap, pinch, and reverse pinch, all of which have specific definitions within the context of the BB10 operating system and its multi-touch interface. The Z10 is slightly taller and thicker than the iPhone 5, with a 4.2-inch display but with greater pixel density. It has both front and back cameras that can film in HD (1080p in the back, 720p in the front.), images and videos are incredibly sharp. It has 16GB of storage with a removable micro SD memory card up to 64GB, pre-loaded apps, speech recognition software and it has a removable rubbery back cover...
