Blue Dart is South Asia's leading air express carrier and premium logistics-services provider. They have the most extensive domestic network covering over 13,880 locations, and service more than 220 countries and territories worldwide through their Sales alliance with DHL, the premier global brand name in express distribution services.

They are the only express carrier in the country today which offers an entire range of services that extend from a document to a charter-load of shipments. It handles over 28 million domestic and about one million international shipments.

Its shipments are aboard its three Boeing 737 aircraft or about 3,000 vehicles. Warehouses at 14 locations across the country as well as bonded warehouses at the 6 major metros of Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

They have 2 outlets in Goa, one in Panjim and the other at Ponda.

They have online "Schedule-a-pickup" service which is designed for added speed, convenience and flexibility in logging the client's pickup requirements.

Schedule-a-pickup service allows the client to register a pickup online for all services that require a door pickup. This service is available for locations serviced by Blue Dart. Currently, this service is only available from Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai - Mondays to Saturdays. This is all handled by the TSR (Territory service representative).

Then once the cargo is picked up, the office incharge with the help of his staff does the bagging and coding of the cargo. There is a unique 3 digit code/ unique card number for their specific centres.

The codes and the information of the customer is then entered by the Data entry operator into the system program that is COSMAT 2.

It then goes into transit where it is looked after by the Hub incharge. From here it is sent to the service stations,
