It has been noted that Capital Punishment has a number of unquestionable arguments against it. First of all, genuinely innocent people will be executed and that there is no possible way of compensating them for this miscarriage of justice. In addition, something that is often overlooked, the torture the innocent family and friends of criminals must go through in the time leading up to and during the execution. Finally, Capital Punishment discriminates against minorities and the poor. Thus, it is clear that Capital Punishment should be removed from all countries.

Genuinely innocent people will be executed and that there is no possible way of compensating them for this miscarriage of justice. It is unjust to those who may have done something wrong and now have to undergo execution. The person convicted of the murder may have actually killed the victim and may even admit having done so but does not agree that the killing was manslaughter.

“Often the only people who know what really happened are the accused and the deceased.” (Unknown, pg. 3) This quote states that if someone did not commit the murder on purpose no one would believe them since no one else knows what went on and they are just going on evidence and facts. Therefore, Capital Punishment is not based on true facts, the government only goes by what they observe and discover.

Something that is often overlooked is the torture the innocent family and friends of criminals must go through in the time leading up to and during the execution.
