Case Study - Steven "Steve" Paul Jobs

Biography

Steve Jobs life started on the 24th of February 1955 in San Francisco, California. His biological parents put Steve up for adoption as his mother's family didn't agree to her relationship and wouldn't allow it, so Paul Reinhold Jobs and Clara Jobs adopted Steve at birth. Steve grew up around engineers working on electronics and gadgets, which is what shaped his interest in the field as he grew up, and at 13 years old Steve met Stephen Wozniak "Woz" which would turn out to be one of the most important people in his life. Steve went to college at Reed, but then dropped out after a semester as he had other interests than the classes that he took.

Steve met back up with Woz who had created his own computer board, because he wanted a computer for himself, and Steve quickly realised that he could sell it to others that wanted to write software but didn't want to make a computer kit, so they started a company for that purpose called Apple Computer on the 1st of April 1976.

In the following years Apple grew tremendously increasing Steve's net worth to over $200 million by 1980, at the age of 25. However, Steve was kicked out of Apple after difficulties between him and the CEO that he hired earlier, but when Windows 95 was released and Apple was severely struggling to survive, Steve managed to get back into Apple when they purchased another operating system he created, and eventually got back into power himself.
