"The Challenges of Dating after Divorce" According to the Bureau of Vital Statistics approximately 50.1% of all first marriages in the United States end in divorce. Because of the high divorce rate men and women are finding themselves going back to the challenging world of dating at an enormous rate.

Divorce men and women find dating to be an extremely challenging and difficult task. You once again have to deal with issues such as trust,age differences, and financial status. Entering the dating world again after as many as fifteen to twenty years is difficult, and extremely challenging. You have to once again find someone that you can trust and trust you as well. You have to be able to trust this person in every area of your life. You have to trust him/her with your children, your friends, and financial decisions. Children are the most important people in one's life.

When dating you have to be sure he/she feels the same way about his/her children. Loving their children may not guarantee that they will love yours; however,chances are if a person does not want harm to come to his/her children then they would likely feel the same when it comes to yours. The person you choose to date will have to understand and trust that your friends, whether male or female are just platonic friends. Some people have more friends of the opposite sex than others. In factbecause people get along better with the opposite sex,the person you date should not be jealous of the closeness you have with your friends. Jealousy plays a key role in destroying a relationship. I, for example, have more male friends that females; in fact, I find it easier to talk to men.
