What is child abuse? Child abuse is any mistreatment or neglect of a child that results in non-accidental harm or injury which is uncalled for. There are many things that can lead to child abuse, it includes; immature parents, lack of parenting skills, unreal expectations about a child's behavior, a parents negative childhood experience, or frequent family crisis.
