"According to the latest polls, President Bush's approval ratings are at an all-time low. In response, President Bush said, 'Yeah, but my disapproval ratings are at an all-time high.'" The audience immediately breaks into hysterical laughter. After a few moments, the audience calms down and waits patiently for the next joke from the tall and pale figure standing at the center of the stage. This hilarious comedian is no other than the famous Conan O' Brien. Conan O' Brien is the perfect example of one who is unlike the conventional stereotypes of the famous, the rich, and the intellectual portrayed by modern society.

Unlike many the famous stereotypical celebrities who can be seen showing off their fortune, Conan O' Brien does not and acts like the average middle class citizen. While Jay-Z is seen with his platinum chain and Lindsay Lohan is seen with her Burberry bag, Conan O' Brien can be seen with a white t-shirt and khaki slacks.

He can be spotted walking down a street in Manhattan, signing autographs, and conversing with people while unaccompanied by any body guards. Conan owns the average middle-class passenger car, a 1992 Ford Taurus which he occasionally calls the gear shifter, the "Cone Bone."

In addition to not showing off his fortune, Conan O' Brien is funny and creative with his comedy and remarks due to his experience. While in Harvard, he was a writer for the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine. O' Brien served as the Lampoon's president for an unprecedented two terms during his junior and senior years. In 1988, he joined Saturday Night Live as a writer where he wrote sketches such as reoccurring sketch "Mr. Short-Term Memory" and the infamous sketch "Nude Beach."
