Concentration Camp: Auschwitz Concentration camps were places where Jews were brought there to worked and prison there. The camps were really horrifying and death threatening for anyone who was forced to be there. I wonder why they created such camps like this. And why did they kill so many people? Weren't they thinking about the people who are dying? The symbol of all camps. The mother camp. The way of dying for all seasons, for all the people. An empty void where four million people once lived. Not even a graveyard honors their lives: for the bones and ashes people had died ashes have disappeared, blown to the winds, scattered as fertilizers, made into trinkets (Feig 333).

Auschwitz/Birkneau is one of the most deadly camps where they tortured and killed people who are Jews or people who do not follow what the Nazi believe in which is divided into in parts of camps which are Auschwitz I, Auschwitz II, and Auschwitz III, or Buna.

More Jews arrived at Auschwitz from all over German-occupied Europe, more lived in Auschwitz, more Jews perished in Auschwitz in a shorter period of time than anywhere in the world. Auschwitz is where most Jews lived (Feig 340).

Auschwitz I which is the main camp of the three. It was the first camp out of the three to be built. It had included the central administration, the Gestapo, and various armament firms. The camp was like the center of the other camps. It had different kinds of stuff then the other two camps had. The camp was not as big as the other two camps because they build this one first. So they didn't know that there would be that many Jewish people in Auschwitz. So they build the other camps even bigger.

Auschwitz/Birkneau is one the most deadly camps that Hitler had form. The main camp.

The camp was a gigantic extermination center secluded on the edge of a quiet, drab polish town, Oswiecim (Feig 333). So man Auschwitz. About four million people died in an area of thirty nine square kilometers in less then five year (Feig 333). The camp contained more Jews prisoners in that camp than any other camp in the world (Feig 334). Auschwitz had the most Jews living there then any other place.

In Auschwitz prisoners were forced to worked and lived under the rules of the Nazi. The old and too young of people were put to death. The healthier people were put to work in farms. Babies were also killed by the Nazi. If you are about the age of eighteen and forty five you will survive. Whoever is not around that age will usually be put to death. So some of the Jews lied about their age to survive and too stayed with their family. The SS soldiers, which are the Nazi, throws the babies into a pit of fire to died or they will throw the babies into the air and shot them for target practice (Sofsky 123). To the Nazi the strongest survive and the weakest died.

Auschwitz II was dedicated to the destruction of the prisoners in the gas chambers (Concentration Camps). If the prisoner did something wrong in this camp that put them in the gas chamber room. Which all the Jews fear the chamber room. So rarely anyone did anything wrong. The camps killed the most people there in less than five years. They killed 4 million people which gave them the record. Not only was it the largest mass killing installation in history, but the number murdered there exceeds the combined population of several small European nations. In the record of what men have done to other men there is no place where so many people have been put to death so quickly (Dirk 54).

Auschwitz III, or Buna construction in the village of Monowitz, about eight kilometers from Auschwitz began. The camp was a big place. It was built to imprison more Jews. The camp is a part of the other Auschwitz camps. Auschwitz, or Buna was finished in September 1941, which is in the summer time.

Auschwitz III, or Buna was the labor camp for the construction of the vast synthetic rubber and petrol works at Monowice. The completion of the camp was September 1942. The vast complex also included a network of smaller labors camps. Buna Camp was a "human slaughtered-house," with the workers dying in thousands. By March 1943, 15,000 prisoners worked at the camp (Feig 353). Whoever tries to escape usually gets caught. The person who gets caught will get killed right away (Bauer 221).

The most deadly one out of all three of these groups was Auschwitz II. It was the camp that had killed the most people. It had the deadly gas chamber. It was known as the place most people killed there in less then five years. And it had the record of the largest mass killing installation in history of all time (Feig 339). It is know as a deadly death camp. The camp is a deadly camp because if you do something wrong they put you in the gas chamber to died. They would not forgive you. Or they will torture you until you have learned your lesson and will never disobey their rules again (Sofsky 145).

In conclusion the camps that the Nazi set up were deadly camps. The camps killed many people. It had broken up family and friends. It also ruined everyone lives. It had a big impact on the whole world. The people who created these kinds of camps are not human being. They probably do not have a heart. They are cold blooded people who kill. They are people who do not care for each other. People who do not have a life, so they go killed people. I still can not believe that there are people that are like this on earth. The people who killed like the Nazi do not deserved to be born. I consider them not to be a human being. So I conclude that the Nazi are people who are sick people who killed for their own needs.
