Conspiracy Theory

September 11th 2001 was never an easy day; it holds a deep impact in almost every American's heart. On this day three of United States passenger airplanes were hijacked and hit three planned targets, the towers of the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington DC. The attack on Twin Towers in New York City was not only a bloody terrorist move that shocked the US government and citizens, but also changed many things around the world. Theorists have declared that these attacks were planned by the government, while others believed that the attacks were engineered by government's elite individuals, but the US government itself, rejects all these theories by blaming the terrorists. However, since the day of the incident, people within the US and abroad believed in some of these conspiracy theories which suggest that the knowledge of this attack was held prior to the actual event.

According to a survey by Time Magazine (2006) more than 100 million American people responded that they believed the attacks on 9/11 were engineered by some organizations linked to the government itself. In addition, before the 9/11 attacks there were movies that showed signs about the bombings on Twin Towers. One example of a movie is Godzilla (1998), image shown - Reporter says, "The worst act of destruction since the world trade center bombing." then the image goes to a close up of the reporter towards the numbers 9:11, another movie is Terminator 2 (1991), image shown- A tunnel with the description on the entrance "Caution 9'-11", this movie was made 10 years before the actual tragedy occurs. Moreover, many other movies and even cartoons such as "The Simpsons" showed similarities to predictions of the attacks on 9/11,
