The two poets have two completely different writing styles. Robert frost takes our imaginations to a journey through wintertime with his poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening." Frost comes from New England, and his writing style reflects his background in that part of the country. Frost uses familiar subjects, like nature, people doing everyday things, and simple language to express his thought. His poems may be easy to read, but not necessarily easy to understand. Almost all of Frost's poems are hiding a secret message. He easily can say two things ant the same time. Andrew Marvell, has a total different writing style. Marvell's writing style on the other hand reflects on how time is a pleasure concept. His writings describe how time is worth grasping it for what is it worth, because it is passing him by.

Time is symbolized through a lover attempting to lure a woman into engaging in sexual relations with him.

The idea is that time is running out is asserted through the poem, as time is the lovers excuse for wanting this sort of act so quickly. Marvels idea of running out of time is shown in several descriptive ways. The personification and illusion of "Time's winged chariot hurrying near" is a symbol of the passing of the days. "let us sport us while we may" is another line that emphasizes how the opportunity to take full advantage of life will not last forever. "And tear our pleasures with rough strife, thorough the iron gates of life" is clearly a motivational statement. It is meant to encourage living life to the fullest through symbolism.
