Creativity is the key to a child's imagination; this is what, unlocks a child's learning and opens up new boundaries and experiences. Creativity is what sets us all apart. Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever, repeating the same patterns. Therefore, for this assignment, the two themes I have chosen to focus on are creativity in context and skills and concepts. Throughout the process of my educational experience, I have seen creativity used in many different aspects, whether it is for everyday use, learning, education or simply a pass time. In terms of education and learning, I have learnt that it is the teacher's role to draw up on children's influence on creativity. Albert Einstein says, "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." Without a teachers input in a primary school, children do not have the right resources therefore teachers maximise a child's ability to be creative.

Linked with this are skills and concepts as creativity also facilitates a child to think for themselves. The child is controlling their own learning by demonstrating how they express their emotions. How they visualise certain aspects. How they choose to learn. More importantly, they have a huge involvement in their education. The aspect of creativity will help the child build their foundation, which will help them gain more experience in life. One could see creativity as an escape to the beyond. This could help a child grow into a strong individual, as creativity and gaining skills both complement each other very well.
