Critical Lens

When writers write from a place of insight and real caring about the truth, they have the ability to throw the lights on for the reader." In other words the critical lens shoes that the writer who cares about the truth and has a deep understanding of the literature can help us understand the literature. Yes, I agree with this statement. I have read two books, which is Odyssey by Homer and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Those books show how human nature is similar to literature.

In the novel Odyssey by Homer the writer shows human nature that is now similar to our lives. In that book Odyssey went many island and he discovered many things, which is related to our human nature. One island that he went called ismaeaus and he saw that people kill other people for their food. In our human nature it still happens nowadays.

In this world people kill other innocent people for anything. This writer of these books tells us that the human nature does not change. It is same as it was before.

In the other novel "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte, the writer of this book shows how love is important to our human nature. The writer quest for love in this story. This story took place 18century in England. The main idea of this story was a young lady who falls in love with other Gentlemen. Main character of this story was Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester who fall love with each other and they decided to get married but it was unsuccessful because Mr. Rochester has wife. There was lots of conflict between Jane Eyre and Rochester. Jane left the Thorn field Mansion and she went to another village for job. At the...
