Critical Thinking Application

Critical thinking affects aspects of our lives; as a student, personal, professional, and as a parent. Hard to believe, but few people realize the powerful role that thinking plays in their everyday lives. People can be their worst enemies without realizing how their thinking causes distress. It is reasonable, reflective, responsible, and skillful thinking that focuses on decisions based on what to do. Critical thinking involves asking appropriate questions, gathering relevant data, sorting through the data, and coming to a reliable and trustworthy decision or conclusion.
