The Daily News vs. The New York Times
The Daily News and The New York Times are similar in certain ways because both newspapers are flooded with many advertisements. Both even have advertisements that are full pages. They contain a variety of colored and black and white pictures to develop their articles. Each newspaper also consists of the basic local news, sports section, weather report, obituaries, editorials, crossword, stocks, and T.V. Listings.
Furthermore, The Daily News and The New York Times are also different in many ways. The Daily News has lots of large and bold print headlines to catch a person's eye. In certain ways, the headlines are sensationalized such as this headline: "Con Care, Home for elderly hires drug criminals as nurse's aides." Moreover mostly all of their articles have a picture beside it. The Daily News not only reports about the local news, but also on celebrity gossip for example, Britney Spears, N'sync and others appearing in a new teen magazine.

Front page of the first issue of The New York Time...It includes horoscopes, music and movie reviews, comics and a health and fitness section. In addition, The Daily News is also cheaper in price. Within The New York Times, the headlines aren't as big as The Daily News. It also fits up to seven or eight average length articles on each page. They are able to do that because their font sizes are much smaller. Unlike The Daily News The New York Times dedicated two sections to the National and International news. Even the Weather Report is detailed and accurate. Another positive feature of this paper is that it has more serious and vital reports that concern the reader.
Each newspaper provides their own brand of information to their readers. The Daily News offers articles that get straight to the point. Their articles are...
