What did the remains of Ötzi reveal about the lifestyle of Bronze Age People?

The 5,300 year old remains of Ötzi the Iceman found in the Ötzaler Alps on 19th September 1991 reveals that the lifestyles of Bronze Age people were developing technologically, developing their intellectual approach to resolve challenges of life, they were learning to use their natural resources effectively and developing a sense of community and culture. These factors are implied through the equipment found with Ötzi, his clothing and his physical remains.

Ötzi was found with an axe, the handle was made of yew wood while the blade was made of secondary copper. The Iceman also had a backpack used to carry loads. It was made of two short boards of larch wood and a hazel wood rod tied in the back with string made of grass.

Other finds was his belt pouch. The belt pouch itself was made of leather and inside were five objects, three flint implements, a bone awl and a piece of birch tinder to make fire. The flint dagger is thought to have been used to cut grass, to drill holes and carving. The bone awl was used to punch holes in leather or fur and perhaps even as a tattooing needle. The birch was probably used for its tar, which was used as an adhesive. The largest item found on the Iceman was the long bow-stave. The bow was not yet completed thus he was probably working on it while travelling and he had a quiver full of arrows.
