Psalm 33:22: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he
hath chosen for his own inheritance."
America as a nation is supposed to be serving God in everything that we do, and
also bringing any problem we have to him; in return, God will bless us as a nation. God
has already blessed this nation far more than we know, understand, or deserve.
Everything good that we have been blessed with in our public life here in America, has
come directly or indirectly from God and the Bible's influence. People blame God and all
his followers (Christians) for all the troubles in America today, but they overlook all the
blessings we have, starting with freedom. The bible warns us of people who hurt the
cause of Christ.
The United States has laws against certain crimes committed here in the United
States. The laws that are found in those books are also found in the bible(most come
from Deuteronomy) but many of these laws have been abandoned or altered by our
determined nation.

United StatesThe book of Daniel also tells us in chapter 7, verse 25: "And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most
High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a
time, and times, and the dividing of the time." This verse tells us that laws are going to
get more lenient, and continue to change.
In America, the strongest support system is the family unit. The Bible is very
supportive of the family. When God created earth he made ONE man and ONE woman
(Adam and Eve). That shows us that he made man to be with woman, not man to be
with man. Today, people are trying to legalize gay marriages and homosexuality, and
that is one of the main reasons for the cause of break-ups between families. When laws
are made to encourage sin- which is what we would be doing by passing laws allowing
of gay marriages- then that sin brings confusion to our society. This also leads to women
and children being exploited, which causes lust, which will destroy marriages. Marriages
are meant to last, and today in America people take marriage quite lightly. It seems that
in Hollywood, whoever is married and divorced the most also happens to be the most
popular.
Another problem in America is that people are working on the Sabbath day, and it
is a proven fact that nations that do not allow their people a day off during the week for
rest, end up working their people or animals to death, and that they have shorter life
spans than nations do which participate in honoring the sabbath day. In Exodus 20:
8-11 it says "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and
do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates..."(11 .b.) "wherefore
the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." People should not take honoring
the sabbath day lightly.
This is the preamble of Michigan's state constitution, which is based on the
bible's influence: " We the people of the state of Michigan, grateful to Almighty God for
the blessings of freedom, and earnestly desiring to secure these blessings undiminished
to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution."
Our nation was once based on God and followed the bible; Today, our nation is so
backslidden that we don't even realize it. But God can change all of that; He can turn
everything around, and there can be a great revival in the United States of America, if
that is truly the desire of our hearts.
