This essay was written by me. Some have advised me that it would not be wise to post such such personal data on the Internet. But, I do it for a couple of reasons. One reason is that someone must speak out so that others know they are not alone in their struggles. Women must know they are NOT crazy! Other reasons are if one woman is helped by this at anytime then I will consider this a success. If it helps one violent partner to realize the error of his/her ways and reconsider I will consider it a success! There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
