INTRODUCTION

Social media is now commonly used by people all over the world because of the popularity such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube has become dominant in today's culture even staffs of school, or in colleges. The effects of this media sites seem to be tremendous that changes the field of education, especially in providing new ideas and interesting information that are shared. Some of people have their own views on social media that affects education. According to Article (1) that I took as a discussion which is 'From E-learning to social learning - a health care study', developments in ICT have a level with the advent of Web 2.0, which gives individuals the opportunity to learn social interaction on the internet.

The site said that by learning through the web will show a web browser over the internet, either the private or public facility. This is often stated to as online learning and is a key component of e-learning or distance learning (Wellman and Wortley, 1990).

Meanwhile in article 2, social media also helps educational institutions in India with the concept of brand community (BC) which means a non-geographic bound community, based on a structured set of social relationships among admirers of a brand. BCs are originally created for offline. However, some of the old brand penetration of the internet is trying to build a brand community as in cyberspace too.
