Ortho Tri-Cyclen is a form of the Pill, which is used as birth control. Many women are unaware of the non-contraceptive health benefits of the birth control pill. Birth control pills, including Ortho Tri-Cyclen, work by preventing ovulation, which means your egg is not released and, therefore, can't be fertilized by sperm. Besides preventing pregnancy, Ortho Tri-Cyclen is clinically proven to help your skin look better. The Pill may reduce menstrual cramps, make your cycles more regular, lighten blood flow, and may provide some protection against developing breast cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease and two forms of cancer: cancer of the ovaries and cancer of the lining of the uterus. Among the long list of effects this pill has on you, the main effects include improvement of facial acne, a decrease in the numerous excruciating biological pains, weight gain, and minor side effects along with serious health risks.
