Reading: -

"Books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generation and nation". Happy is the man who acquires the habit of the reading when he is young. Poor indeed is the man who does not read, and empty is his life.

Reading has different forms e.g. classic reading and online reading. Both have its advantages but as world is changing and new technologies are seen everyday so as far I have experienced I find online reading more powerful and influencing.

Examples of literacy history: -

Books are usually one of the resource through which we get knowledge and get to know about life in our childhood. Children read fairytales and other storybooks, which makes them interested in reading more as the vocabulary is simple and the books are colorful containing cartoons and pictures. They want to read more of these storybooks, which also help them improve their reading skills that become useful in school life.

As Malcolm X quoted "every additional book I read, it give me little bit more sensitivity to the deafness, dumbness and blindness that affecting the black race in America"

Examples of online reading: -

The Internet, in particular, provided me new text formats, new purposes for reading, and new ways to interact with information that also somewhat confused and overwhelmed me. When I was interacting with text resulting from an Internet I perceived Web text reading different from print text reading. The thing that impressed me more was that whenever I read something, if I didn't understand meaning of any particular word a single click on that word would provide me its meaning and its different forms (verb,adjective,thesaurus,etc).
