What makes us fear the flu over an incurable life threatening disease? And why, if it is as simple as a condom, do people not protect themselves? One thing that contributes to people's lack of protection is an uncertainty of the disease itself. Many people are uneducated of AIDS and all that comes with it, but as they start to learn more they are then introduced to the dissidents' side of AIDS, that is that HIV does not cause AIDS. This controversy makes it hard for people to fully understand HIV and AIDS, and makes wearing a condom a thought many put on the back burner. This is a very dangerous thing as AIDS is spreading more throughout our earth people need to be informed that HIV does exist and is a deathly virus, HIV does cause AIDS, and that ATZ do not cause AIDS.

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome refers to an advanced stage of a virus called human immunodeficiency virus also known as HIV. HIV infects key cells in the human body called CD4-positive (cd4+) T cells. These cells are part of the immune system, and less of the T cells make it harder for the immune system to do its job of fighting infections and various diseases. HIV does this by invading the CD4+ T cells, and the immune system loses its ability to defend against bacteria, viruses and other organisms. While some aspects of how HIV destroys cells is still under study, there is an exhausting amount of evidence showing CD4+ T cell reduction is due to HIV.
