Topic: The two novels represent great social prejudice, especially in relation to human appearance, also within Stevensons' novel the duality of man is acknowledged bluntly and is reason for the conflict in the novel, wherein the duality of man is subtly present in Shelleys' novel, acknowledged with confrontation between the creature and creator, however daintily, this leads to irresponsibility of Mr. Hyde, and the creature.
