Ethics is important to every individual in society as a whole. Whether it is in an individual's professional career or personal life, ethics and morals play an important role in the way that individual's live their lives. The key to an organization's success is the way they handle business ethically. Although it is not always simple to do what is right, it is something that has to be done. Conducting an Ethical Inventory is a way for an individual to learn how they as individuals see ethics, what is more important and what is least important to them. I have completed this inventory, and will discuss how it relates to my personal and professional development, how my educational experiences has affected my way of thinking ethically, how I use ethics in thinking and decision making, and how the potential for situations to arise with other that have different interpretations of ethical behavior.

I have a couple different ideas of "what I want to be when I grow up" as some might say, but currently I have short term and long term goals set for myself, that are part of my profession development. In my person life, it is important that I can help provide for my family, financially and emotionally. This is one of the main reasons why I returned to school as an adult. I want to be a good role model for my children. Completing my education is one of the first steps and with my education as come the increase and growth of my ethical thinking, by learning about different ethics, personal and professional and how important this is to myself and to any organization.
