The student code expects honesty and integrity from all the students inside and outside of the classroom. The purpose for the Student Code is to outline the definition of academic misconduct and lay out the recommended course of action should violation(s) occur of policy occurs.

The Student code is designed to reinforce the standards set by the Carlson School of Management allowing the students, faculty, staff and administration of the Carlson to monitor the learning environment, while at the same time encourage professional development of all the studentsThe main stakeholders for the student code are the Carlson School students. The rules and policies in the student code pertain to all the students. Should a student in the Carlson school violate an academic misconduct policy, the student will be subject to the punishment of the Carlson school student. In addition, the student will also be addressed by the University of Minnesota student code imparted to all of its students.
